If you own your home:

Complete the form and bring it into city hall with a photo ID and proof of ownership. The Water Department will schedule a housing inspection (fee $20.00) and as soon as the house passes our inspection your water service will be turned on. This process usually takes 24 to 48 hours.

If you are renting a home or apartment or are purchasing a home by contract for deed:

Owner's Authorization Sheet
Complete the forms and bring into city hall along with $100.00 deposit. The water Department will then schedule an inspection of your rental unit (fee $20.00) and as soon as your apartment passes our inspection your water service will be turned on. This process usually takes 24 to 48 hours.
